Sam Williamson is currently the voice of The Oakland Raiders® professional football team and The Kansas City Royals® professional baseball team. He is known as a real, edgy, intimate, honest storyteller. Twenty years of live hosting, announcing, and acting for stage and screen has left its mark on Sam's voice, giving it a naturally melodic gravitas. His rugged baritone is well-traveled, trustworthy, believable and altogether gripping. It can be intimate and inviting, or intense and commanding. At times poetic, at times powerful, Sam's voice is experienced, smoky, warm, authoritative, charismatic, intelligent, educational, informative, genuine, caring, compassionate, soothing, explosive, articulate, tough, worldly, sexy, kind, and cool. Esperienza
Sam started working in the trenches of broadcasting as an airman in the USAF stationed in Europe in the early '90s working production for Armed Forces Radio and Television, also known as AFRTS. He received a commendation medal for his work during Operation Desert Storm. Sam then returned to Kansas City and worked extensively as an on camera talent for local television commercials. One, he is proud to say aired during the Superbowl in 1994. His work also included the stage and voicing radio spots while he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Theater from the University of Missouri Kansas City. Upon graduation, Sam was offered an artist in resident position at Vienna's English Theater (VET) the oldest and most established English language theatre in continental Europe. Sam turned down the offer and moved to Los Angeles. Out of 3500 applicants, Sam was one of 10 chosen to take part in the University of California-Los Angeles' coveted Master of Fine Arts Program in Theater, Film, and Television Performance. For the next three years he worked with the finest teachers and actors in the nation learning the nuances of the Stanislavski method of acting. The program also concentrated heavily of voice and speech as well as script analysis and character creation and development. Upon graduation, Sam found his niche in the world of commercials as well as going on the road with Crown City Theater Company where he honed his skills as a Shakespearean actor. Sam brings nearly twenty years of classical training and acting experience to any project large or small. He is also an accomplished voice and accent reduction coach. Sam currently resides in Kanas City and is the voice for Kansas City Royals Major League Baseball Team. He also works consistently with CCTV, the worlds largest broadcasting network, voicing the station IDs an promos.

Sam works with a full time audio engineer and who studied at Chapman Studios in Kansas City and was the mentored by one of Nashville's greatest music producers, Isaac Moreno. We work together from my state of the art studio. We work quickly and effectively and our turn around time is only a few hours or minutes if necessary.
