My voice work centres on clarity, credibility, and natural delivery, in other words, sounding like a real person, effectively communicating to listeners, instead performing a script.

I’m drawn to projects that require a grounded, believable tone — whether that’s commercial narration, corporate and educational content, healthcare, or content where clarity and trust are essential.

As a Scottish voice actor working across Scottish, British, and neutral international English, I pay close attention to accent authenticity and audience expectations. I’m comfortable delivering a warm regional sound where character and locality matter, or a softer, more neutral delivery where clarity and accessibility are key.

Alongside narration and commercial work, I also enjoy character performances, creating voices that range from comedic to dramatic. This includes grounded game and narrative characters, subtle comic roles, and darker or dramatic material where tone and control are key.

I record from a professional home studio and deliver clean, broadcast-ready audio. I take care with pacing, emphasis, and intention, and I approach each script with the aim of understanding what the listener needs to hear, feel, or take away.

I’m comfortable self-directing while remaining responsive to guidance, and I value clear communication throughout the process. I work thoughtfully with scripts to avoid generic reads, favouring natural rhythm and conversational realism, while adapting quickly when direction is provided.

From a professional standpoint, I approach voice work with transparency and reliability. I’m attentive to usage, licensing, and deliverables, and I aim to make the recording process straightforward and dependable for collaborators.

I am part of VoiceOver School, created and run by Jesse Carrol in the US. Two decades experience in Scottish primary school education, gifted in phonetics instruction, and storytelling.

I am an early-career professional voice actor currently building my portfolio through regular auditioning and recorded work across commercial, corporate, e-learning, and character material.

My experience includes delivering broadcast-ready audio from a professional home studio, working to clear briefs, self-directing effectively, and adapting reads in response to direction. I also bring a strong understanding of usage, licensing, and professional delivery standards.
