Dan Profir (aka Dan Profiroiu) former professional actor and director in Romania and France (1988-1992), perfectly trilingual in English, French and Romanian, settled in the UK in 1998 where he started his career as a professional Voice-Talent & Voice Coach.
Dan has been a successful voice actor since 1999, when Fox Kids Channel hired him to perform professional voice acting on promos, teasers and menus for their Romanian copy.
Becoming increasingly involved not only in voice-acting, but also in multilingual voice-over production and voice coaching, in 2006, Dan opened his first voice over recording studio, in Southampton, a top-notch new generation recording facility, to produce results comparable with top London recording studios – for a fraction of the cost.
For his great voice, Dan has been hired in 2012 as a French Announcer for the London 2012 Olympic Games. His voice was thus heard by thousands when the legendary British sailor Ben Ainslie won his 4th Olympic Gold Medal for Team GB.
Today, Dan is the Founder & CEO of RED CAT STUDIOS (RCS), a multimedia localisation company, specialising in Multilingual Audio/Video Production for Corporate and Broadcast sectors. He is also Head of Production, Voice Coach and Talent Manager at RCS.
