In addition to knowing (and learning from) some of the most respected voice-over artists in the business, Charlie's voice "acting" skill and technique has mainly come from on-the-job training in the broadcasting industry. As a radio host, he developed the ability to communicate to an audience in ways that fit the moment; sometimes "real," energetic, & funny... sometimes sincere, honest, or empathetic... but always compelling.

Charlie has been doing voice-over work for over 30 years. It started during his radio career, which (big surprise) has been on and off over the years. He's been a successful on-air talent in some of the largest, most competitive markets in the country including Cincinnati, San Diego, Minneapolis, San Francisco, and London, (yes, England.) He also spent nearly 5 years as an on-air talent at Sirius XM, hosting national shows heard by millions. Throughout his broadcasting career, Charlie has always been called upon to voice commercials, but he began getting requests to record for advertising agencies based in cities he was on the air. That led him to build his own studio and become a "real" voice over artist.
Charlie has been listed as a talent on various voice over platforms and agencies, building a list of his own clients as well. Over the years, his work has been used nationally by T-Rex Tape, he provided a character voice for EA Sports' "NHL 19," and he has been the commercial voice of Barrett Jackson Auto Auctions for the past seven years. He has done everything from Radio/TV commercials, documentary narration, corporate training/explainer videos, and character voices.
