I was an theatre actor for many years before starting voice over. The goal in theatre is to make the audience believe you, to be truthful, so that they become emotionally invested in your journey. I believe this carries over in to every type of voiceover job whether it's commercial, promo, narration, e-learning, or anything else; the goal is to bring the listener on your journey. This is what I bring to the table as a voice actor.
Formazione
I trained for many years, starting as a teenager, at various theatre schools in: acting, voice, Shakespeare, acting for the camera, directing, and voiceover. I trained classically as a singer.
Esperienza
I enjoy the variety that comes with doing commercials, and the chance to really spread your acting wings that comes with audiobooks, but one of the things I loved doing the most was reading articles for various news outlets and magazines such as Huffington Post, Wired, Bustle, Mic, Playboy, Time, and Rolling Stone, and voicing stories for Medium.com.
Peculiarità
I am a singer and read music. I play the flute somewhat poorly but with gusto. I speak a bit of Icelandic.
