Josh Beckman

If you're reading this, you've probably had a listen to my voice demos already and you've come here to find out a little more about me. My voice has a funny knack of fitting within most genres. I have professional actor training from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art where I developed my voice to be a strong and dynamic instrument that I can bend and stretch to suit its environment. If you want a smooth luxury lilt, or something a little sillier, I love a good challenge so send me your brief with as much detail around what you are looking for and I can show you my version of it.

A good script can be read like a piece of music - there are rhythms, peaks and troughs that feel pleasent to the ear and finding each script's specific musicality is what I do best. I'm a collaborator, so my method is to work with clients, sound engineers, producers and directors to make sure what we have at the end of any session is what everyone wants.

 Ausbildung

I graduated with distinction in Professional Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2024. Alonside a complete conservatoire training programme, LAMDA offers a World Class Screen & Audio programme where we develop and train in the practice of audio-only performance. Included in this, was a workshop with both Audible (Amazon) and Side (video gaming)

I have a fully functioning home studio fitted with top of the range equipment so can conduct remote studio sessions with live feedback if needed or can deliver clean audio files in a short turnaround window.

I am also a baritone/tenor musical theatre/contemporary/jazz singer.
