"Warm, honest & somewhat husky storyteller!"

My natural accent is non regional American accent and can provide a normal (?) as well as an exaggerated southern American accent.

Feedback has been that I have lovely tone to my voice and very reassuring and calm. Smooth delivery ( someone said it sounds like chocolate) and with clear articulate use of the English language.

Attended Royal Conservatoire of Scotland starting 2015 - having a rather long hiatus from professional child stage actor in 1969.

My voice was highlighted as a definite strength, from the tutors as well as fellow students, when I attend 3 courses from 2015 - 2016 : Devising, Acting with Text and Acting on Camera.

I attended an intense 2 day course at Voice Over Training Scotland in January 2017. The course covered warm up & preparation, styles and techniques and live VO production covering commercial and corporate. I most enjoyed the narration of a Harry Potter extract having to be a couple of different voices.

I have recently completed in January 2018 a "Mockumentary style" movie trailer "Johnny Chan - the Secret of the Jewel" that is within a short film that I had an acting role and is at present in the post production phase. This is a 20 minute short film and was on a profit share basis.

All other voice over experience is within a training setting.

I am looking to developing VO recording and production skills as my background was in submarine sonar technology - so it has definite transferable skills. I would be looking to set up a home studio within 6 - 12 months.
