My natural voice is Mansfield born-and-bred — a distinct Nottinghamshire accent that’s famously hard to imitate. People from the Midlands can always tell when it’s authentic. My tone is warm, honest, and deeply relatable, especially to working-class audiences.
I’m an expressive performer with strong control over emotion, tone, pitch, and breath. With my training background in acting, musical theatre, and voice, I can shape my voice to fit different characters, styles, and storytelling needs. I’m also confident in a range of accents and character voices.
As a podcast host and content creator, I’ve developed a natural ability to improvise, bring humour, share difficult truths, and keep listeners engaged through authentic storytelling.
Ausbildung
I trained at Funky Studios in Musical Theatre from 2014-2019 with daily singing lessons from solo, duet to chorus in many genres from Musicals, Classical, Contemporary, Jazz, Folk and Pop. During 2018-2019 I was offered a scholarship on there full time course the 'Intensive Drama School Preparation Course' where I later earned by place at Drama Studio London.
I trained at Drama Studio London with a 1st Class Degree in Acting. Where I developed techniques for radio, podcasts, audio books, character voices, children's stories, presenting, narration, vocal science and accents.
Erfahrung
My biggest achievement so far is my podcast which has reached international audiences from London, Dublin and Youngstown USA. The podcast has strengthened my ability to self produce, create content, deliver materials across multiple platforms like Spotify and Amazon Music. My podcast started as a way of me sharing funny relatable stories and expressing my northern working class female voice but since has become a major success. Before and during my Drama School training I worked as well-known characters for children's parties, community events and big festivals like GloWorm across the Midlands. Where I've changed my voice/accent to fit the character and give a sense of authenticity. My training allowed me to explore and understand my voice capabilities where I've been able to create content for local businesses to expand their market audience.
Besonderheiten
I'm a neurodivergent writer currently producing my first play 'Dreams Bigger than Here', and developing my TV script 'Negotiators'. I have the ability to create content, edit, develop and deliver to multiple platforms. My successful podcast 'The Bad B*tch Process' on Spotify, Amazon Music and other platforms has been a major success.
