Ausbildung
I've been active in music and recording since the 1980s, when I first learned studio operations and mic technique. As a bassist and backup vocalist, I initially developed my voiceover skills creating sales and training videos for companies including TPL, Inc., Marathon Sensors, and UPC/Marathon.
My DAW skills are self-taught and grew out of a music-focused workflow—I'm an engineer by training, so I take quickly to audio tools and editing environments. More recently, I've expanded into content creation for Boltz to Nutz Farm and BoltzStrong, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit I co-founded, producing voice-led cooking and gardening videos for disabled children and adults.
While not classically trained, my voiceover development has been hands-on and purpose-driven, shaped by decades of on-mic work, technical communication, and community-focused storytelling.

I bring a multidisciplinary approach to voiceover. In addition to vocal work, I regularly write, voice, and produce short-form videos for nonprofit and educational content. I have strong writing skills and frequently script or adapt messaging for clarity, tone, and emotional resonance.
I also handle light post-production, including editing, timing to picture, music integration, and audio balancing. I’ve composed and voiced video content for my own nonprofit (BoltzStrong) and farm business, including educational, fundraising, and promotional videos.
With a background in music, I perform as a bassist and backup vocalist, and I’m comfortable singing harmonies. I edit in CapCut and Audacity, and can deliver clean voice tracks or fully produced short-form content, depending on the client’s needs.
