Anthony Lloyd

The Daily Telegraph described Anthony as having ‘a voice of Rolls-Royce sumptuousness’. He has a deep, chocolaty, sonorous bass-baritone voice. He can be commanding, authoritative, soothing, reassuring, jovial, comedic and can do a variety of character voices. He is perfect for: narration, commercials, animation, audio books, training videos and being classically trained is also able to sing opera, musical theatre or crossover if required. He is a fluent Welsh speaker and able to do some regional and specific country accents and read and pronounce Italian and German.

 Ausbildung

Anthony studied performance at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, where both courses had strong ‘speech and voice elements.

Anthony’s film voice-overs include: Sparafulile in Operavox’s animation of ‘Rigoletto’, ‘Twin Town’ (Figment Films), Chisan ‘The Warrior’ (Medusa Films) and Chiboo ‘Unseen Evil: Revenge of the Chiss’ (Laughing Tree Productions), promos for Pure West Radio, auditorium announcements for Cunard Line and Fred. Olsen Line, voicing the Ace of Spades ‘mockumentary’ for Anglian Water and A.I. Games Character voices for Replica Studios in Australia.

Anthony is a fluent Welsh speaker. He is a classically trained international opera, West End and crossover singer. Before his vocal studies, he graduated in Hospitality Management. He is also a compere, presenter, host and MC.
