I have spent over ten years working in broadcast media, recording and producing voiceovers for television documentaries and audiobooks. I have extensive experience on 'both sides of the mic', having scripted and produced other voice actors, and recorded a wide range of voiceovers myself. My natural voice is deep, neutral English, but I can offer a wide range of pitches and tones - from smooth radio, to grim detective, to kooky cartoon characters. I have my own industry standard recording facilities at home, and am meticulous in my attention to detail, both recording and editing. I'm easy-going and enjoy collaborative work with others. Communication is key to the success of every project; if there's any doubt about a client's wishes, I'll check and double check to ensure that you get the ideal recording.

- VOICE TALENT: In-house producer and director of educational training programmes for the Teachers TV channel. Working with an engineer and dubbing mixer, I recorded the majority of voiceovers for the programmes that I produced.
- PRODUCER: Director of long-form (60') history documentaries for the BBC. I wrote all VO scripts. Working with an engineer and dubbing mixer, I directed voice talent for each programme. Once the dubbing mixer had completed the initial track-lay, I directed the final audio dub.

I am a classically-trained bass-baritone, and hold a distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 classical voice. I have sung in groups ranging from classical choirs to barbershop quartets, and I used to front a large ska band.
