"Multi-award nominated American singer and vocal impersonator"
Jaren Cerf

Jaren Cerf is a Canadian American recording artist, author, and actress. She was born in the Wild West, lived nine years in Los Angeles, and has been living on the East Coast for nearly a decade. She has been exposed to many North American accents, including the French in her home base of Montreal. To date, she has more than 350 published song titles in genres spanning from electronic dance music (trance, house, chillout) to folk, pop and singer/songwriter. In 2013, Jaren started working as an accent coach, vocal impersonator and voice-over artist for game apps, educational programming, commercials, and more recently, audiobook narration.

In 2017, Jaren was cast in the film Song of Granite, a film by Pat Collins about Irish seanos singer Joe Heaney. The film was Ireland's official submission for the 2018 Academy Awards.

In December of 2018, Jaren's first writing project, a non-fiction book called Talking Trash: My Year in Zero-Wasteland, was published. Currently, Jaren is working on select music and voice-over projects.

Having worked as a recording artist for nearly fifteen years and done all sorts of interviews, radio jingles, promos, and now audiobook narration, voice-over work seemed like the next logical step in my journey as a voice artist. I am self-taught, mostly learning through master classes online. I have my own studio and am able to edit and produce my work from home.

My biggest achievements include being the voice in game Apps for Mega Bloks and Spotr, narrating a 50k word non-fiction called Talking Trash. In the singing realm, I am an award-nominated vocalist and vocal impersonator (Joni Mitchell, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Tori Amos, Patsy Cline, Alison Krauss, Indila).

My special skills include: yodeling, vocal impersonation, editing, production, piano, composition, singing in French as well as English.
