Angela Scappatura is a voice actor, audiobook narrator, former network radio journalist and award-winning singer. She has narrated fiction, non-fiction, radio documentary and short-form audio - often in a live-to-air environment.
A classically trained vocalist, she has performed with her jazz and blues band on the stages at some of Canada’s most iconic venues, as well as internationally, over a career spanning more than two decades.
Formação
Angela Scappatura attained a post-graduate diploma in broadcast journalism. In the years since, she has produced, written and presented audio on a broad range of topics. Beyond on-the-job training, Angela has taken voice over and audiobook narration courses through On the Mic Training and done extensive private coaching with P.J. Ochlan, Shannon Elizabeth Parks, Erin Moon and Caroly Larson.
She is also a classically trained vocalist.

A classically trained vocalist and pianist, Angela has performed with her jazz and blues band on the stages at some of Canada’s most iconic venues, as well as abroad for a residency at one of Hong Kong’s luxury hotels, over a career spanning more than two decades.
For more than 15 years, Angela has honed her craft as a print and radio journalist. Throughout that time she has worked as a news producer for Canada's public broadcaster and a reporter for several daily newspapers. Angela has covered everything from crime and politics to human interest stories and the arts. As a radio journalist, she hosted national news programs, produced a radio documentary and spent several months in the Eastern Arctic reading the morning news. Those experiences have refined her ability to tell stories on a wide range of topics in an engaging and conversational way.
As an audiobook narrator, she has performed and produced a number of audiobooks that are available under her pseudonym on Audible and other platforms.
