Kate Stephenson

I have a highly adaptable, versatile voice which can be warm, soft and friendly, playful and fun, husky and sexy, aspirational, reassuring and trustworthy. My natural accent has a hint of Yorkshire, so has a quality that's slightly different from a lot of standard British voice over artists.

 Formation

I started my career as a voice over artist 14 years ago on BBC promotional trailers and went on to be one of the core voices on the UK terrestrial broadcaster Channel 4, both live and recorded. I've also worked for their digital channel 'E4' which caters to 16-24 year olds, 'More4' which targets older viewers, and Film4. As a freelancer I have voiced projects for leading corporations, charities and a supplier of educational material.
