
John Kielty
I have 20+ years experience in Professional Theatre performing in a variety of accents and styles. I have recorded countless radio dramas and short stories for BBC Radio and many regional and national radio adverts for Red Facilities in Edinburgh. I am native Glasgow (West) but have lived in Edinburgh for twenty years and performed with the Royal Lyceum, The Traverse, The Citizens, Dundee Rep, National Theatre of Scotland and the Reduced Shakespeare Company to name a few.
Formation
I completed an HNC in Performing Arts at Coatbridge College which lead on to my first professional role in 1997. I did my intern at BBC Radio in Queen Street performing first in the Women's Hour Serial Adam Bede directed by Patrick Raynor - playing Seth Bede. Red Facilities recorded my demo reel in 1998 and started putting me up for work - I have recorded with them regularly since.

Particularités
I have a home recording studio and editing suite and work on Logic Pro. I am a multi instrumentalist and composer with access to the massive East West Sound Library and can provide music very quickly in a variety of styles providing live piano, acoustic guitar, bass banjo, electric guitar as well as vocals.
