Rob Spence

A fresh new voice to the VO industry, I am a singer-songwriter, Producer born and raised in the UK, but have resided in the USA for the past 30 years! A natural born mimic, I've always dabbled with different accents and dialects. As a young father, I always felt compelled to give each character it's own voice when reading to my children and now do the same when reading to my Grand children.
My voice has developed over the past 30 years of living in the USA, since I discovered upon arriving in this country, the locals had some difficulty in understanding me. I was forced out of frustration at having to repeat myself so much, to slow down my speech and enunciate more clearly!
I soon discovered I was on to something when doing some telemarketing work in Rhode Island, when I was the branches top salesman as because of my accent, I was able to keep the customers on the phone longer!
If I had a dollar for every time I've heard " I Love your accent" over the past 30 years, I wouldn't need to work!!!

I've been talking for over 50 years, but more recently, completed the 'Voices for all' Online Master Class!

Okay, I may be a "newbie", but don't let that put you off! I've only recently begun answering auditions and have landed 3 jobs already at the time of typing this! If you give me a chance, I won't let you down and will work hard to give you what you are looking for. I won't be satisfied until you are completely happy with the job.
