"Warm, Bright, Ear-Catching Midwestern Voice with a Wide Range"

Dear Voice Seeker,
Thank you for your interest! I have a bright, warm, clear voice that excels in conveying information, whether in a commercial or in an audiobook. I take direction well and am excited to tackle new challenges. I am also trained in several accents, such as Received Pronunciation, Cockney, General American Southern, Scottish, and Irish. Please feel free to listen to my demos and contact me with any questions!
Thank you!

I studied Voice and Speech, Acting with an Accent, Voice Over Techniques, and Vocal Approach to the Classics with Paul Meier at the University of Kansas. Paul Meier is the author of "Accents & Dialects for Stage and Screen" and the founder of the International Dialects of English Archive (IDEA), an online archive of primary-source recordings of dialects and accents from around the world. A voice-over artist himself, Paul Meier has also served has a voice coach for many theatre productions and movies, including the film "Ride with the Devil", starring Tobey Maguire and Jewel.

Most recently, I was the lead voice over artist in a short horror film. I've also been featured in a radio ad for Brown Mackie College and in a radio production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" for Kansas Public Radio. I have film and commercial experience, including playing the title role in the short film "Death of a Salesgirl". I have also appeared on stage in several productions, most recently with the Living Room Theatre, Journeyman Theatre, and Musical Theatre Heritage.

My skills include singing (I am an alto), reading music, playing the violin (which I have done in both the classical and fiddle styles for the past fifteen years), and playing basic guitar.
