"Friendly, intelligent, and conversational"
Jennifer Doig

I am a professional voice over talent with the delivery sense to provide a variety of styles to my reads. My voice has been described as gentle, warm, friendly, caring, compassionate, conversational, young mom next door, approachable, happy, convincing, and intelligent.

My interest in voice over began when my daughter was born. My husband and I furnished my daughter's library with many books, believing that it was an essential and fun part of our daily routine with her. I really enjoyed getting into the books, acting out the characters and stories rather than simply reading the words on the pages. As kids tend to do, she often requested to read the same books day after day, sometimes several times a day, which gave me the ability to really bring the characters and stories to life in my voice. I developed a keen sense to bring new books to life in the same fashion, even when reading new material for the first time. My daughter also loves to read marketing pamphlets, magazines, and catalogs that come in the mail, so the variety of reading that I was doing was vast.

Fast forward a few years and I jumped at an opportunity to attend a voice over class being offered locally. Not only did I love it, but I was told I had great potential. I spent the next several months getting one-on-one coaching by professional voice over coaches. My natural ability to bring words to life and desire to learn has helped propel my voice over career forward.

I holds a bachelor's degree in business and a master's degree in IT, and spent 13 years in the IT services industry. I am detail conscious, meticulous, and extremely organized, with the business sense to deliver quality work on time. If you are looking for a professional to get your job done, I am it!
