I have honed my voiceover skills for nearly 40 years, with the understanding that voice-over is most effective as a one-to-one communication medium, requiring different kinds of communication for different situations, whether it be low-key, friendly, upbeat, or authoritative. My approach is to make each listener feel as if I am communicating directly to that one listener, with the goal of inspiring the listener to act on the message's call to action.

My training has been on the job in local radio, voicing and producing commercials, taking direction from advertisers and producers, then expanding into on-hold messages and audiobooks.

I was production director for AMI radio stations in the Joplin/Pittsburg market from 1987 to 1999. Many of the commercials I voiced or produced there won awards or recognition from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters and the National Association of Farm Broadcasters. From 1999 to 2015, I was production director for the Journal Broadcast Group radio stations in Tulsa. In 2005, my efforts were recognized as Best In Market by the Tulsa chapter of American Women in Radio and Television. I have also voiced thousands of on-hold messages produced by Ayerplay since 2006.

I specialize in audio file editing and clean-up, session production, mixing, and mastering.
