My education for voice over includes coaching for VO success, speech, voice lessons and acting classes. My training and experience as a pharmaceutical representative give me the medical term pronunciation necessary for medical narration.

I have been in the business for a relatively short time, but bring much experience to the table. Along with recording commercials, audiobooks and audio for internal corporate use, I have been performing for years. I have some classical vocal training and have sung at countless weddings and funerals, as well as performed in several musicals when I was younger - both of which have served me well in voice over acting. I was Miss Milwaukee in 1987, top 10 in the Miss Wisconsin pageant and winner of the swimsuit preliminaries. In 1988, I sang the National Anthem at a Milwaukee Brewers playoff game. More recently, I was the lead singer in a local classic Rock band. For five + years, I worked in the medical industry as a Pharmaceutical Representative, which has afforded me a solid grasp on medical terminology, preparing me for medical narration projects. Additionally, being in sales is performance training in and of itself!

Collectively, the performance experience that I have had throughout my life has prepared me to feel comfortable and confident in any performance role, including voice acting.

Singing is the reason I wanted to get into Voiceover work in the first place. I have always wanted to sing Jingles. I have some classical training, so can sing everything from Janis Joplin to Kiri Te Kanawa.
