"Personable, Wry, Friendly, Good w/ accents"

In Commercials, I have quite a range, but with my best foot forward, I provide an affable arm around the shoulder read that has a "you know what I mean" quality with a Mid-Western welcome. Additionally I have a cool quality without alienating my audience.

In Promo, I have a sense of humour that is playful for comedy series and then for sports, I have a cool College Football, National Baseball feel.

In documentary narration, I carry authority and enlist my audience into the story without being condescending

Noel's voice has been described as friendly, natural, conversational and wry, but he can certainly provide energy, enthusiasm and authoritative depth. Has been often likened to John Krasinski and John Corbett On commercial reads, Noel has a hip adult feel (early to late 30's) friendly, real, energetic or casual with a hint of wry. On public service announcements, a genuine caring sense of the neighbor next door. On TV narration, Noel's read range from the dramatic to the whimsical - from Discovery documentary to Food Network lifestyle. He can speak French and is completely bilingual. Noel has standard American speech, which he can alter to various regions Southern (Virginia), New York or mid-west. Noel can do a full on British accent as a native Brit (is half English, lived & trained there) or make it mid-Atlantic as in his Nokia TV spot on the demo. Noel's promo read is ESPN cool matter of fact, but can go lighter Hollywood read.

I initially trained in Voice-over with Stuart Dillon in New York City. Subsequently, I've studied with Susan Blu in Animation, and coached for 10 years with Marice Tobias out of Los Angeles, and Johnna Gotlieb in New York.
