"Voice Over and Above!"
Michael Weissert

I reliably meet or exceed the client's expectations by combining my passion for quality with attention to the customer's needs for high quality delivery every time. My voice has been described as that of a Buddy, Dad, or average Joe, with a believable, friendly, and slightly raspy delivery. Exciting reads that connect with the audience is my goal, no matter the subject matter. I take direction easily, I love to improvise and take chances with my interpretation of the copy!

I am a mechanical engineer by trade, and am well versed with technical terms.
I live part-time in Japan and have mastered the language enough to work as an engineer in Japanese, so I can handle Japanese copy as well. However, please note that my Japanese will never be mistaken for "native". Please only inquire about Japanese copy if a "Gaijin Accent" is acceptable.
I have over ten years experience in Japanese and English translations.
I have done post-production of a children's book (VO direction, editing and mixing with music).
