 Training

I excel at a neutral European English accent, accentless and sophisticated. This makes me perfect for narration, training audios, telephony and information services for most English speaking countries.
Above all, I enjoy a bit of fun - so count me in for warm, believable or off-the-wall Aussie promos.
More recently I have studied with Gravy for the Brain and King Sound Studios Australia.
After finishing an Associate Diploma in Performing Arts (1984/85), I worked in Brisbane as a professional actress. There I performed shows for QPAT and La Boite, worked as a creative writer and performer in acapella/street theatre troupes, as a singer and actor at Expo '88, and co-founded and wrote for Piccolo Productions (a children's theatre company) as well as touring children's theatre with Tic Tac Theatre Company and Queensland Theatre Company.
I lived in Holland for 7 years and studied the Dutch language to the Mavo level.
In the UK, I studied Teaching English as a Foreign Language through Cambridge University.
Living two years in India meant leaving the theatre profession temporarily until returning to Australia where I've been fortunate to have received a LitLink Fellowship from Varuna, the Australian national writer's retreat where I regularly return to work on major projects. I am currently completing a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Creative Writing from Griffith University.
Technologically, I have updated and managed my business website since 1999 when I completed a Certificate IV in Business Management and have a high level of competency within this area. I also completed a Certificate IV in Teacher Training and Assessment.

 Experience

I currently write copy and work as a voice over artist for Radio Blue Mountains in Australia as well as freelancing from my home studio. As a freelancer I have completed ongoing IVR work for Dialpad, recorded and edited audiobooks, and continue to create ads and promos for organisations such as NOVA, the Australian Department of Health, Voiceless, Women with Altitude Awards, Botanical Gardens and other Australian organisations.

 Specials

My performance and writing skills suit my Voice Over work perfectly, enabling me to offer writing and technical support where required.
To create and edit recordings for my clients, I work with a Sennheiser MK4 microphone, Scarlett interface and Pro Tools or Adobe Audition DAW from my beautiful home studio (DEMVOX Eco200) deep in the Blue Mountains of Australia.
