Professional Actor Training 1987-1990 (UK) Bretton Hall School of Performance

I trained as an actor at Bretton Hall School of Performance. I have been performing and coaching student actors since then, with some voice work as a voice artist since the late 1980's, with work in radio, including local radio and BBC, and on the film projects made famous by the best-selling book The Guerilla Filmmakers Handbook.

Currently on global TV weekly. ITV4 Auto Mundial, ESPN Planet Speed, Sky Sports Arena Motorsport Mundial, Motor Trend TV Max Power.

I record up to 30 hours of sight read TV narration a year.

Early in my professional career I worked on film and television projects. They included production work on Channel 4's (UK) Brookside and Hollyoaks. In recent years I have also worked as a Performing Arts Assessor for the BBC. Amongst my other exploits, I have 20+ years experience as a lecturer in acting, working closely with the FE and HE sector.

I am an experienced drama practitioner/ actor, commentator on Film (Norwich Advertiser), Classic Cars (AutoMotiv Blog), Writer for Classic Car Weekly and broadcaster. Previous live shows on local radio in Cheshire and in Merseyside, England. My interest in using his voice goes back to when I was 10 and wrote to Richard Straker, the legendary BBC continuity presenter about a job at the BBC.
