POWERFUL, VERSATILE VOICE-

I have a classic, powerful, deep male voice with a generic Mid-Atlantic American accent. My voice is strong and cuts through the clutter out there, but I am
versatile, and I can ably perform a range of tones and inflections from an overzealous young adult to wise old sage.

Whether you are producing a commercial, a documentary, an internet release, a product demo, a corporate piece for use internally or with clients, or even your company's automated telephone attendant, I have the experience and versatility to bring your script to life.

I can even create custom b.g. music for you. I'm an accomplished guitar player and actually worked on music row in Nashville, TN when they still employed songwriters. I wrote and produced a number of songs in the 80s.

I even do a few quality voice characterizations: Various Brooklyn/Bronx Mobesque accents. Southern US. Canadian, UP/North Darkota/Fargo accent. Pittsburgh-ese.

 Ausbildung

I've been training and coaching imaging producers, live talent, and celebrity talent for 30 years: Ted Nugent, Dee Snider, Nikki Sixx, Whoopi Goldberg to name a few. For 10 years I held the position of National Director of Rock radio imaging and programming for IHeart Media. I've voiced imaging and trained talent who work with Premiere Radio Networks, United Stations Radio Networks, Clear Channel Communications, SFX Communications, Liberty Broadcasting, and ABC Radio Networks.

 Erfahrung

Being a voice talent didn’t happen by accident. At 18 I started doing imaging and voice overs at my Youngstown State University college radio station while playing live as a musician. At 20 my songwriting partner and I got the opportunity to be song grinders in Nashville and record a few songs. I say song grinders because when you HAVE to write 3 songs a day or else it becomes grinding. I realized at a young age that if you weren’t going to put time and quality into your craft, it wasn’t worth it.

By 22 I got my first full time imaging/production job with US Radio and WONE/WAKR in Akron. At 24 I moved to the program director chair, but still kept my hands on the imaging and production in Detroit for ABC Radio and The Z Rock format. I had the chance to do sessions early in my life with the great Paul Turner and I was blown away. Still am. By the age of 26 I was a successful major market program director and continued to voice commercials and promos for clients like: KIA, NFL, Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, US ARMY, IHeart Radio, and HBO's Vinyl.

I’m injecting the passion and experience I’ve put into my directing career right into my voice overs. The ability to deliver a great story in voice to you, is my goal.
