"Authoritative, accessible, believable."

As your friendly neigborhood Male Voiceover Professional...while I can do almost anything VO-wise, most of my recent work is in the field of eLearning (aka WBT or web-based training, online training, online instruction and explainer videos)...with clients including many projects, particularly on bookkeeping and security for The U.S. Department of Defense, technical training and marketing presentations for Nokia (as well as in some of its previous incarnations, such as Bell Labs and Alcatel-Lucent), audio textbooks for Glencoe/McGraw-Hill, tech product marketing for STMicroelectronics, medical training narration for Octapharma Plasma and many others. My natural speaking voice is full and in the deeper range, though I have a fair amount of flexibility in how I am able to use it.

 Ausbildung

I have decades of experience in working with both corporate and educational clients, which has taught me responsiveness to client needs and desires. I'm well-read and tech-savvy...which eliminates a whole host of problems caused by lack of familiarity with script content.

 Erfahrung

I've done everything from thousands of standard broadcast radio & TV commercials to the voice of automated robotic mascots in schools and restaurants...and installation videos to accompany various retail products. I've been the character voice of an animated pencil, narrated stories and audio books for adults and children, done movie trailer-style intros for productions of various sizes, and been the live or prerecorded announcer Voice of God (VoG) for The Professional Golfer's Association (PGA), The Pampered Chef, Southern Living at Home, The Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges, Kroger, Polaris Amphitheatre and Lane Bryant. I've done many political commercials, from local and issues races all the way up to two US Presidential campaigns.

 Besonderheiten

I do write music and have several albums of my original compositions in release (more on this at ChuckBrownsMusic.com), but I haven't pursued work-for-hire musically...though I did score a series of DVDs for young children called Noodlebug.
