Voice description

Sharon has a naturally clear and warm voice. From this rich, communicative and commercial or authoritative corporate sound, she has the acting and vocal talent to turn on a dime voicing a wide range of real or cartoon girl and boy voices and wacky or excentric characters.

Sharon takes direction well and is able to quickly make subtle adjustments in her read.

Training

Sharon holds a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the National Theatre Conservatory (USA) as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.

Her professional training also includes programs at the Yale School of Drama, UCLA, Oxford University with the British American Dramatic Academy and a one year program with France’s renowned Conservatoire National Superieur d’Art Dramatique in Paris.

She studied standard American diction, Linklater, Alexander and Lessac vocal techniques and with Bonnie Raphael (Playmakers Rep) and Gary Logan (NTC) and privately with Lucille Rubin Circle in the Square, NY) and Deborah Sussel (ACT).

Sharon has honed her technique with hundreds of hours in front of the microphone skillfully taking direction from some of Europe’s finest producers and her prestigious clients.

As the voice for international corporations such as CAP GEMINI, GDF SUEZ, THALES and WESTERN UNION, the fragrances FEMME DE LA COSTE, OXYGEN and ROCK AND ROSE, and luxury brands DIOR, CACHAREL and HERMÈS, to name but a few, I am well-established in Paris’ voiceover community thanks to a solid theatre background and voice training at the National Theatre Conservatory (USA).

I've dubbed French beauties Marion Cotillard and Emmanuelle Beart as well funny ladies Isabelle Nanty and Michèle LaRoche into English and Absolutely Fabulous’ Jennifer Saunders into French.

I've narrated dozens of documentaries including the award-winning
HIMALAYA: LAND OF WOMEN and TRACKING THE WHITE REINDEER both for ZED and the Animal Planet series, WILDWIVES OF SAVANNAH LANE (3x52'). A generous emotional range makes my voice well-suited to intimate portraits, and I often voice first person narratives, as for Debra Kellner’s makings of for the feature length films, HIMALAYA and THE ROAD (these in French).

If you are under 13 years old you surely heard me in 4 seasons of the animated series CODE LYOKO on Cartoon Network as two of the series’ lead adolescent characters, Jeremie and his ladylove, Aelita. I also camped the scheming, singing schoolmarm Ms. MacBeth in the cartoon I.N.K. for ABC3 and the deliciously fickle poodle Kimmy, in MONK, LITTLE DOG for Canal+. Other lead roles in cartoons series include: Nelly in OZIEBOOS (3 seasons), Chen in CEDRIC (3 seasons) and Agent Chase in LINUS AND BOOM.

I can be heard in numerous video games from Ubisoft, Creo and Quantic Dream including lead roles in ALONE IN THE DARK 2 & 3, RUNAWAY 3, SYBERIA 1 & 2 as Kate Walker and the Prophetess in Ubisoft's online game HEROES’ KINGDOM.
