Voice description

Voice Style: My core voice is low, rich, and smooth; reassuring or hip and ironic. I am often hired for e-learning and industry narrations because of my natural, confident style and smooth handling of technical terminology. And I can pull many characters and accents out of my bag of tricks, especially if you want a humorous take on an ad!

Project experience: During my nearly 20 years in this business, I have voiced hundreds of radio and TV commercials as well as e-learning modules, web videos, corporate DVDs, training series, and telephone messaging. I've narrated a fashion show, been the voice of a drive-through "Festival of Lights," done book trailers, and voiced museum exhibits. You name it!

Audiobooks: I have recorded books for several major American publishers using dozens of dialects and character voices, including many regional North American accents.

Training

I trained at the Yale School of Drama, where I earned a Doctor of Fine Arts degree.

I have studied audiobook narration with Pat Fraley, Hillary Huber and Scott Brick.
