Voiceover talent based in Southern California, Travis (who goes professionally by just the one name) has over 30 years experience in the voiceover industry. He has narrated literally thousands of commercials, documentaryies, training programs, and multimedia productions. Though he often works out of his own broadcast-quality studio facility, he actually prefers to travel to other Southern California Studios to work. "My work's always best when I can concentrate on just the performance." he says. "There's a special energy when you're working with the recording engineer and the director right there with you on the other side of the glass."

"My main goal, of course, is to communicate. I take extra care to actually understand and mean what I say. You can have a great voice, the latest high-tech equipment, a fantastic studio, but if you can't get the message across in a way the engages the listener, you haven't really done the job".

Ausbildung

Continuning training. Broadcast and theater in college, acting and voiceover training in Hollywod, Including training with Charles Conrad and Steve Eastin, a course taught by Chuck Blore, and many years working in the Radio industry.

Travis’s recent voice-over projects have included commercials for Disney and Dish Network, A “Making Of” video for the movie “Blades of Glory”, a Los Angeles Emmy award-winning educational series aired on PBS stations, He voices commercials for Cox Communications and The Orange County Performing Arts Center. He narrated the online interactive tour of Walt Disney Concert Hall for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, training programs for the Los Angeles Fire Department, Honda, Kia, Mercedes, and Acura, Internet Education programs for Honda, promotional programs for Acura, and a retrospective of the Bob Hope Desert Classic for the USA network, and many others. Recent documentaries he has narrated, include several award-winning documentaries for Google Earth “Oceans” project, “Island of the Great White Shark”, “History of the Coronado Bay Bridge”, “Rockingham, the Road to Peace” and “In Search of Ambrosio Gonzales”.
